A fabulous pair of French antique bobbin corner chairs with rush seats in the arts and crafts style. These are matching chairs, which is not so easy to come by. They also have rush seats decorated with red painted ornament which is an additional attractive feature. They would make a wonderful decorative bench at the foot of a bed or could be placed on either side of the bed in place of bedsides. Would also look great as a pair in a hallway.
Nice decorative order, the wood is freshly waxed and has a nice sheen to it. The rush is aged and a single strand on one of the chairs is missing, but generally lovely condition for this type of chairs, which normally have at least this amount of wear or more.
