An antique ornate ebonised pillar stand - a wonderful decorative piece that can be shown off on its own, or will make a magnificent pedestal for a large plant or sculptural artwork.
Condition report:
Sturdy, solid and rather heavy! General surface wear commensurate with age, some cracks to the wood, some larger ones have been filled, a small loss on the woodwork towards the bottom and a loss of one of the four veneer panels on the base. That side has been painted black to match and can be positioned out of view. Some woodworm evidence on the base that has been treated as a precaution and filled where possible.
