A stunning original 1930s Art Deco burl wood vanity desk / dressing table. The piece showcases classic Art Deco asymmetric design with an ebonized black top and rounded edges.
Compact in size it will fit into smaller spaces or could be used as a work station in a living room. It will also work very well as a dressing table in a bedroom. The cabinet door swings open to a stack of small drawers perfect for organising personal items. The left hand side of the table top lifts up to reveal more hidden storage space.
Condition: good sturdy and structurally solid condition. Wear on the surfaces of the veneer and table top commensurate with age - some cracking of the veneer, some chips but to the back, so not really noticeable. Table top has a split on the upper laminate surface and a couple of lighter marks. Blue paintwork inside the storage space is worn, but I can repaint it in a similar colour.
