A stunning vintage Italian (circa 1950s) wall mirror in a brass frame in the style of Gio Ponti. It has a fantastic very elegant shield shape with a decorative crest - a very sought after and hard to find example. It will make a perfect over mantle, hallway or bathroom mirror and will become a treasured statement piece.
Lovely vintage condition with minor wear to the mirror plate - a couple of very small hard to see scratch marks. Good original wooden backing. Tarnishing to the frame, which is quite common for these mirrors and evidence that this is an original and not a reproduction. Please see close up photos for details.
Approximate dimensions:
Height - 70 cm.
Width at widest point - 45.5 cm.
